As you probably know, the fun of sewing a block called Town Square has been going on since mid-February. Of course, it is the name invented by me to name a quilt, which will be built from this block. Not only the particular one you see above. This is one of the many versions of this block, and the more versions I sew, the more I like this idea because it offers so much possibilities. I changed this block. The previous version is below. Dark pink color – magenta, I replaced with sunny – mustard. I missed it in my collection, but now I have it and in my opinion the block is now happier. The first version is below.
And here’s another version. This time in the middle I sew a small crochet napkin made of fine cotton. I already have 7 napkins and 3 blocks. I should finish top in this version soon. I already know that I will be quilting with the pink color of the thread. Let me tell you, I’m looking forward to quilting. This version is so girly! The colors are quite pale. They are actually a tad stronger. Hope to take better pictures next time. Stay healthy! Margaret
