Yes, I've had a huge change in my life for two weeks, but more on that in a moment. As you can see, I managed to finish the quilt for Janeczka. I do not know how I did it, but the most important thing is that it is ready! Next week, maybe I can get out for half an hour, so a surprise gift will reach the addressee. These Dresden are really easy and quick to sew. Quick, because they only have 12 ties (pieces). You can find all the templates you need in our store. I used THIS DRESDEN and the ring from THIS SET
You know this photo from FB. The May grass beautifully emphasized the colors, especially the green parts.
I used Handi Quilter
Short video how I quilted:
Inside is silicone (which I "like" so much ;) )and the back are flannel. This quilt is intended for the garden on cool evenings. It is to be washed and dried quickly. I hope so.
Quilting is not sophisticated, but since the bedspread is intended for everyday use, the quilting is only to combine the three layers, and this is what it is like in this piece.
And in these photos you can see my dad. From April 30th, he lives with my husband and me at our home. In August, Dad will be 86 years old and unfortunately he has not been independent for a short time, so he came to live with us. Therefore, as you can probably guess, our life has changed enormously. Now taking care of my dad is the priority, and it will stay that way. That is why there is less and less of me and will be in social media, but I will try not to disappear completely. Nights are quite long, though not in spring and summer :D :D Anyway, I am hopeful and will write about my new challenge from time to time :) If you share your energy and good thoughts, I will be very grateful. Have a great weekend! Margaret
