Here are what new fabrics have appeared for me. A few weeks ago, I got such fabrics from … Santa Claus, who lives in the States and near Joann Fabrics I made a decision to use up most of my fabric stocks. There are always new collections that I would like to have. I haven’t bought anything for a long time because I have a really large collection of fabrics. Therefore, I decided to significantly reduce my stock. it’s very dark today. The sky was all lead-colored clouds. I had the light on all day. And although the weather told me – go to bed, I decided to start a new project.
I took out my beloved old sewing machine and began to enjoy sewing. Slow sewing. The next level of enjoyment. Since I limit my sewing, I will have more time for quilting. I miss longarm quilting a lot lately. And I come back to this activity with great pleasure. If you have any ufo – tops please contact me. Christmas is near. And I know that many of you just want to have quilts ready for Christmas. And you still need to binding, attach the label… The end of September is the perfect date to ship the tops to the spa ( profesional quilter)
Of course, when the design is to be sewn slowly, the embroidery could not be missing. Let me put it this way: back stitch is not my forte. Each one is of a different length, but it doesn’t bother me at all. I like hand sewing and soon I will probably sew something bigger only by hands. And it all started so innocently with hand-sewn appliqués some time ago;)
I used mini tumbler template. This size of template is perfect for Jelly Roll and you can this and more in my store HERE
Morning picture hahaha The sandwich is ready to quilting. I’m looking forward to do this <3 More about this project soon.
This is my neighbor’s cat. She’s name „French Frite” She is impossible. She climbs everywhere and on anything. This pergola was embellished with beautifully flowering clematis. I was surprised that the clematis died without any symptoms in the spring. In order not to mow the stems at the pergola, we made flower beds surrounded by stone. And since there was plump earth surrounded on all sides, the cats thought it was the perfect litter box. I noticed it the other day when they were using this piece of land. It was too late to plant the fresh clematis. In the spring I have to fence it high enough to prevent entry. Take care – Margaret
